. Powercreeping creatures which outmode creatures we grew up playing.
. Forgetting about characters they we’re attached to.
1. They change game rules that had no need to be complex. Magic has already been proven to be one of the most complex games ever. 2. They move away from cards and styles that lead to non-games, which is the case with land destruction and instant speed discard. 3. They shouldn’t make cards better? Just because you grew up with something doesn’t mean it should be untouchable. They already can’t make a 2/2 flying first striker for 3 because of the Reserved List, limiting things just because of your nostalgia is stupid. 4.”we’re attached to” no You and a few others are attached to, while the majority don’t care so they make characters that more people will care about.

I don’t understand how this is any different from being unable to see any stylized representation of humans as humans. It’s not like Japan has a single, uniform style with no gradient in stylization vs realism.
